Venue

The SCCS10 will take place in the Internationales Wissenschaftsforum Heidelberg (iwh) of the University of Heidelberg. Heidelberg is centrally located in Germany and Europe and easy to reach by train, bus, shuttle, and car. Information on how to reach the iwh can be found on the iwh page and below.

Accomodation

Accomodation for all invited speakers will be organized. Most of them stay in the iwh. For all other participants we recommend

By Airport Shuttle (from Frankfurt Airport)

Lufthansa offers a daily shuttle service between Frankfurt airport and the center of Heidelberg. Operating hours are around 5.30 a.m. to 10 p.m. The price of a round trip ticket is 35 €.

  • Bus stop in Heidelberg: Crowne Plaza Hotel Passage, Kurfürstenanlage 1-3, 69115 Heidelberg

We recommend taking a taxi to reach your hotel or the conference site.

There is also a door to door service operated by TLS.

By Airport Shuttle (from Frankfurt Hahn Airport)

Hahn Express offers a daily shuttle service between Frankfurt Hahn airport and Heidelberg. Operating hours are 5.30 a.m. to 0.30 a.m. The price of a one-way ticket is 18 €.

  • Bus stop in Heidelberg: Main train station

By Airport Shuttle (from Baden Airport)

Hahn Express offers a daily shuttle service between Baden airport and Heidelberg. Operating hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. The price of a one-way ticket is 16 €. But at some times the bus only goes to Karlsruhe main train station and you have to catch a train from Karlsruhe to Heidelberg HBF(main train station).

By Car

Heidelberg is best reached via the Bundesautobahn A5:

  • From Frankfurt (north): Take the Heidelberg exit number 37 at the Heidelberg Interchange. Then merge onto B37 towards Heidelberg.
  • From Karlsruhe (south): Take Heidelberg/Schwetzingen exit number 38. Then merge onto B535 towards Heidelberg. This takes you directly onto Speyerer Straße (L600A).
